Mounting The mounts are classic bevel cut antique white, white core, acid free, conservation quality. We have precise specifications for proportion between print area, paper margin, mount and frame edges… so vital for good overall composition. |
Framing The frames are natural wood with a square section 21mm on both the face and return. We use an acid free barrier layer between the mounted print and the backing board, which is sealed for stability and to exclude moisture. |

What is meant by 'Limited edition'? It means that a strictly limited number – in this case 50 of each print – will ever be produced. Prints will be made only to order, consecutively numbered and signed. In accordance with fine art and photoprint industry best practice, records are keep so that print provenance can be assured. All prints are made, signed, mounted, framed and sealed personally by John Fewster (bare wood frames and glazing are produced by local specialists). |

For efficient hanging, a plastic coated stainless steel wire is crimped to D-rings that are riveted to the backing board. |

Glazing on frames for shipping is acrylic Plexiglas® for safety and to comply with EC postal regulations. Visually it is indistinguishable from glass. |
